

So yeah, very straightforward and very easy. So we had to include it in the Microsoft suite as most students and staff members have access quite easily with their university alias. And, of course, the institution license covered all of the accounts. It was quite easy because we had support from the Microsoft customer service team. They offered us a very good price for a large basically license, including most departments and our department signed up immediately so we can use it for the end of the academic year and for the beginning of the next academic year.

Those updates were extremely helpful for most higher education institutions. We basically chose Microsoft Teams because of the updates that were announced in March, 2020 when the lockdown basically started. So Microsoft Teams felt like the right, I would say, solution during the global pandemic and for having bigger classes and lectures within a friendlier interface that is more modern. And the main issue was the, I would say, outdated interface, which didn't look really modern, it was a lack of options for hundreds of users, and at the same time the problems that we experienced with different operating systems.
